  1. All about Space Trivia - Join for an evening celebrating the discoveries and mysteries of the cosmos by testing your knowledge of the wonders of space during this trivia quiz!
  1. Let’s Start a Podcast - Wanna get into podcasting but don't where to start? This is the class for you! They will cover the basics of the different recording software that we offer, along with an introduction to the equipment they provide in the Audio/Video Lab. 
  1. Guided Kayak Trip - Enjoy a serene paddle around Piney Run Lake as you enjoy scenic views of the forested shoreline and abundant wildlife. No experience is necessary. 
  1. Preschool Prom at Westminster Library - This memorable experience will be filled with dancing and plenty of special memories! Take a photo with your friends, make a craft, and dance the morning away!
  1. CCAC Children’s Theatre: Space Pirates - Pirates! Aliens! Space Travel! Space Pirates tells the story of Gabby, a kid who gets picked on during a school trip to the museum. Everything quickly changes when an alien space ship accidentally beams Gabby and her classmates up to outer space. Things go from bad to worse when the alien space ship is suddenly attacked by SPACE PIRATES! It’s only after this whirlwind space adventure that Gabby becomes comfortable in her own skin, and her classmates appreciate her for who she is.
  1. Black Smith Days at the Farm Museum - Head to the Carroll County Farm Museum for their Black Smith Days!
  1. Teen Craft: Fairy Gardens and Garden Gnomes at Eldersburg Library - Come build fairy gardens and gnome homes at the library! Bring your imagination. All other supplies will be provided. 
  1. Local Author Fair - Meet local authors Frank Batavick, Stacey Brown, Mary G Jackson, Ashley Pickett McMahon, Flo McCahon, Sandy Soyke, Barbara Ringrose, and Jack White at our local author fair. Books will be available for purchase and signing. 
  1. Healthy Kids Running Series - Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids compete each week for a chance to earn points. At the end of the Series the boys and girls who accumulate the most points in their respective distances are awarded trophies. All participants receive a medal on Week 5!
  1. Community Plant Swap at Charlotte’s Quest - Dig up any plants you are willing to share and swap them for something new!
