Jan 23rd - 29th

  1.  Ready, Set, VIOLIN! At Taneytown Library - Do you have a child that loves the violin but you’re not sure if they are ready for lessons? Join the Ready, Set, VIOLIN class to find out! This class provides an opportunity to explore violin lessons without a financial commitment. During the free, 5-week class families get ready for formal lessons by learning basic skills required for successful lessons.
  1. Tuesday Morning Motor Group for Ages 2-4 at Bubala Indoor Playground - An experienced pediatric physical therapist will lead children through engaging activities focusing on fine motor, gross motor, language, social/behavior self-regulation skills, and sensory processing. 
  1. Family Fun Night at North Carroll Library - Join us for family fun and enjoy music, crafts, games, STEM activities, and being together with friends.
  1. Meditation in Nature at Bear Branch -  Come join the meditation group every other Thursday outside of  Bear Branch Nature Center. This outdoor (weather permitting) guided meditation session will focus on connecting to the world around  us. There will be some time available after to share any thoughts or  questions. Please bring anything you will need to feel comfortable  for the 30 min meditation session; a towel, yoga mat, etc. 
  1. Day Off in the Park at Piney Run Nature Center - Spend your day off in nature! You will explore the park, play games, make crafts, and meet our animal ambassadors. This is a drop-off camp. Participants must pack a lunch. 
  1. House Plant Party at the Mill of Hampstead - Stop by from 9-5 on January 27th or 9-4 on January 28th to plant some succulents! We will have a variety of succulents and an assortment of colorful pots for you to plant them in! Soil and a planting station will be provided. The price of everything comes to just $12!
  1.  Renegades Fast Pitch Free and Open to All Winter Skills Clinic - All experience levels welcome to prepare for Spring '23 season.
  1. Mark Baille at the Island Green Family Fun Center - Big Country is back at The Island!
  1. Coding with Pepper: Building Conversations at Exploration Commons - Designed to build on the basic programming covered in the introductory Code with Pepper class, this class explores how to program a more natural and longer conversation flow with Pepper. Pepper was funded by a Library Services and Technology Act Grant from the Maryland State Library and Institute of Museum and Library Services. 
  1. Unlimited Fun at Players Fun Zone - All You Can Play Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, and Inflatables plus add on options for Arcade, Glo-Golf and VR.
