- School’s Out All-You-Can-Play Special at Players Fun Zone - At the door – $30 per person – All you can play laser tag, bumper cars, inflatables, and 1 round of glo-golf.
- TinkerCad Circuits: Basic Electronics - Learn basic electricity and electronic concepts with Tinkercad Circuits. This online simulation tool is a wonderful way to get into electronics without the hassle of expensive and delicate lab equipment. We’ll cover basic electricity, series and parallel circuits, LEDs, power supplies, and much more. Media Production Tools were funded by an Infy Maker Award from Infosys Foundation USA.
- Struggle for Freedom: the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr - The life and story of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is one of both triumph and tragedy. Learn how Dr. King came to be such a prominent leader in this dramatic show. Follow Dr. King’s life from his time as a young boy in Georgia, to becoming a preacher in Alabama, to becoming an important figure on the international stage. A powerful and impactful story, audiences will come to recognize that the Civil Rights won during Dr. King’s time came with a heavy price. Presented by Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theatre company based in Asheville, North Carolina. Each year, they serve nearly 1,000 audiences in schools, theaters, libraries, museums and more across the country.
- Twos and Threes Together at Finksburg Library - This lively, fast-paced storytime for young children includes books, songs, fingerplays, and movement.
- Make-a-mug at Westminster Branch Library - Make a custom-designed mug using Adobe Illustrator and a Cricut vinyl cutter. You'll design, cut, and apply the vinyl to your mug using permanent vinyl. All materials will be supplied and no previous Cricut experience is needed. Just bring yourself and your ideas!
- Mozzarella Making at the Westminster Library Branch Exploration Commons - Stretch-a-long with our chef! In this class, you'll transform fresh curds into yummy mozzarella. We'll finish by making several delicious recipes to taste. Dishes include Sfoglia, Mozzarella Caprese Skewers, and Margherita Flatbread. This is a hands-on cooking class.
- Snowman Spectacular at Eldersburg Branch Library - It's cold outside, perfect weather for a snowman! Join us for stories, songs, and crafts about our favorite winter friend.
- Teen Fiction Trivia - From popular series to amazing retellings to vintage classics, are you a teen fiction expert? Join us and test your knowledge with this very special Saturday trivia quiz!
- Wine and Coaster Craft Night - Join us for a fun evening of sipping wine and making these high quality, wine-themed slate coasters (on 1/22/2022 at 6:15pm). Event includes all materials needed to make the 4 coasters, instruction, and a glass of wine of your choice!
- A Raisin in the Sun at the Carroll Arts Center - National Players is honored to portray this award-winning drama by Lorraine Hansberry with a universal story about an African American family dealing with prejudice, history, and a world where everything changes.
