  1. Warm up to Winter Savings at the Townmall of Westminster - Come inside, catch a movie, grab a bite to eat, and pick up a few things during their Winter Savings Sale.

The Power of Mindfulness Meditation - Imagine staying calm despite the chaos surrounding you, being courageous and confident despite overwhelming challenges before you, exemplifying care and compassion despite hate and divisiveness facing you. It is possible! Join Joanne Hochendoner as she shows us the serenity and joy of living from our authentic selves. 
  1. Alphabet Train at the Finksburg Library - Climb aboard each week to explore a different letter of the alphabet through books, songs, and activities. All adult caregivers are welcome.
  1. Storytime at Rudolph Girls Books - Head to Rudolph Girls Books in Downtown Westminster for a storytime! 
  1. National Whipper Cream Day - Top something yummy with it at Hoffman's and tell them Westminster Macaroni Kid sent you.  
  1. Library Book Box: First Steps - Ready to take home a Library Book Box? The Book Box is a take-home kit with a craft, a treat, a few little surprises, and a library book for you to enjoy!
  1. Icons of American Animation at the Carroll Arts Center - The Rugrats, the Super Friends, the Seven Dwarfs, and more of your favorite characters are taking over the Tevis Gallery! This dual-venue exhibition presented concurrently at McDaniel College presents a private collection of over 150 pieces of original animation art. Featuring notable characters from films, animators, and production studios associated with both film and television, the artwork speaks to the rich history of one of the most popular and influential art forms in America. With original concept drawings, paintings, cels, storyboards, and music sheets, the exhibit highlights animation’s cultural impact, artistic relevance, technological achievements, and historical moments in time.
  1. Read to a Dog at North Carroll Branch Library - Read to a puppy from the Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Program! Reading to a dog can increase a child's self-esteem and confidence levels in reading, especially with struggling readers.
  1. Winter Craft Time at Westminster Branch Library - Craft supply kits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at CCPL's Westminster Branch. You can pick them up at storytimes or starting on Fridays, during library hours, while supplies last.
  1. Old Westminster Winter: Sunday Brunch - Join us for a taste of Maryland for Sunday Brunch every Sunday with chef selections and a delicious seasonal menu! Reservations are recommended but not required.
