  1. Teen De-Stress at Eldersburg Library - Take a minute to unwind and de-stress. Create a mesmerizing glitter jar, a stress ball, and come relax.
  1. Schools Out All You Can Play Special at Players Fun Zone - At the door – $30 per person – All you can play laser tag, bumper cars, inflatables, and 1 round of glo-golf
  1. Card Playing Day - Tired of all the holiday activities? Need a break before the New Year fun begins? Get your family and friends together for a quiet and fun night on Card Playing Day. Held annually on December 28, the day celebrates card games and aims to bring together family and friends after a busy holiday season.
  1. Pajama Party Storytime at North Carroll Branch Library - Wear your pajamas, bring your favorite stuffed animal, and listen to stories before bed. This storytime introduces stories through books, songs, and activities appropriate for young children.
  1. Mario Kart Free Play Fun at Eldersburg Branch Library - Join for an afternoon of Mario Kart free play on the library’s big screen. Players are welcome to bring their own switch to play.
  1. Visit the Gate House Museum of History - Opened at its present location on September 7, 1997, the Sykesville GateHouse Museum of History strives to preserve and interpret the abundant history of the Town of Sykesville in Carroll County, MD, and its surrounding communities through its collections, exhibits, and special events. The Gate House Museum facility was originally part of the Springfield Hospital Center, one of the nation’s largest psychiatric institutions in the early to mid-1900’s.
  1. 50 Years 50/50 Raffle - Help support Carroll County Parks by purchasing a 50/50 raffle to the Park Legacy Fund. The Park Legacy Fund was established to make improvements to parks throughout Carroll County. Raffle starts January 1, 2021 and runs through June 11, 2022. The winning raffle will be drawn at the 50 Year Celebration event. Carroll County Recreation & Parks employees are not eligible to enter.
  1. Storytime at Rudolph Girls Books - Head to Rudolph Girls Books in Downtown Westminster for a storytime! 
  1. Science Fiction Day! The holiday focuses on a genre of literature that explores the effect of imaginary change through technological innovations, scientific discoveries, natural events and disasters and evolution on people and their relationships. Check out some ideas on how to celebrate!
  1. Old Westminster Winery: Sunday Brunch - Join for a taste of Maryland for Sunday Brunch every Sunday with chef selections and a delicious seasonal menu! Reservations are recommended but not required.
