Dec 13th - 19th

  1. Sensational Snow Globes at North Carroll Branch Library - Join and make two different kinds of snow globes, one with water as well as a waterless snow globe. 
  1. Holiday Tour at Carroll County Farm Museum - Stop by and share a smile and wave with Santa while he visits the Museum! Be sure to bring a camera to snap a picture too. Free children’s craft kits are available to take home. Refreshments for sale in the Barrack’s Barn.
  1. A Christmas Story at Carroll Arts Center - Come enjoy the Christmas classic “A Christmas Story,” hosted by actor Scotty “Flick” Schwartz! Stay after the film to hear behind-the-scenes stories in a Q&A with Scotty. I DOUBLE DOG DARE YA!
  1. Reindeer Storytime at Finksburg Branch Library - Join for stories, songs, and dance and learn about where reindeer live.
  1. Godspell: the Revival! By the Small Town Stars Theatre Company - In March of 2020 the company was supposed to perform their production of Godspell. Due to COVID-19, that didn't happen. Now, they have come back to finish what they started over a year ago. Some of the cast is the same, many of them are new and they all can't wait to show you what they have been so desperately waiting to perform. At its core, Godspell is a show about hope. Their version of Godspell emphasizes that theme as they have set our production before, during, and after 9-11. With this production, they celebrate the power of hope.
  1. Storytime at Rudolph Girls Books - Head to Rudolph Girls Books in Downtown Westminster for a storytime! 
  1. Christmas Concert at the Island Green Family Fun Center - The Westminster Municipal Band will be here at 1pm playing all your Holiday music!
  1. Christmas Village at Together We Own It - Join for the First Annual Christmas Village! Enter the Village and visit with Santa Claus, shop for gifts from any of our vendors, build your own toy in Santa's Workshop, take home a Christmas tree & so much more! Fun for the whole family. 
  1. Saturdays with Santa at Westminster Branch Library - Visit Santa at the Westminster Library (50 E Main Street), Saturdays in December (4, 11 & 18) and take advantage of a FREE carriage ride through Historic Westminster from 12-4 PM. Carriage rides may be picked up behind Life is...Pizza (Locust Lane) beginning at 12 p.m. All activities are free of charge. Happy Holidays from the City of Westminster!
  1. Ugly Sweater Day! The third Friday of December is Ugly Sweater Day. On this day, get in the holiday spirit and flaunt those ugly holiday sweaters (thanks, Grandma!) you have been too embarrassed to wear in public. In many countries, the holiday is associated with fundraising events for children’s charity.
