  1. Townmall of Westminster: Pet Night with Santa - Bring your pet to the mall to see Santa!
  1. Giving Tuesday Trivia Night - #GivingTuesday is a global day of unity to take place on November 30, 2021. Last year, Together We Own It raised over $10,000 on this one day of giving. They hope to double their impact from last year by raising $20,000 for youth programming this year on Giving Tuesday. They are celebrating with a Trivia Night at the center. Grab your friends, family or coworkers and put together a team! More details to come.
  1. Holiday Tour at the Carroll County Farm Museum - Stop by and share a smile and wave with Santa while he visits the Museum! Be sure to bring a camera to snap a picture too. Free children’s craft kits are available to take home. Refreshments for sale in the Barrack’s Barn.
  1. Letters to Santa at North Carroll Branch Library - Let the library help get your letter to Santa! Stop by during library hours, write a letter, then drop it in their special mailbox.
  1. Recycled Book Ornament at Finksburg Library - Using a recycled book and other assorted papers, create an ornament to liven up the holiday season! This take-home kit will include an instruction sheet with creative ideas, two plastic ornaments, book pages, and other assorted supplies. Kits will be available for pick up beginning Thursday, December 2 at CCPL's Finksburg Branch.
  1. A Likely Story Bookstore: Brene Brown - A Likely Story Bookstore and Random House invites you to join #1 New York Times bestselling author Dr. Brené Brown for a special, one-night-only event to launch Atlas of the Heart on Thursday, December 2, at 8 p.m. ET on Zoom. 
  1. Twelve Hours of Christmas by the Main Street Merchants - A Main Street Tradition! Come see Main Street magically decorated and kick off the holiday season with a chance to win one of the stupendous baskets provided by Sykesville small businesses (up to $500 retail value)! Enter with the raffle tickets issued for purchases in the shops or restaurants and enjoy complimentary hot cocoa.
  1. Santa Wagon Rides at Piney Branch Park - Join for a Wagon Ride with Santa Claus at Piney Run Park! Santa will be reading the group a Christmas story by a campfire and going on a 45-minute wagon ride. Each participant will receive a Piney Run holiday mug with the program! Hot chocolate may be provided as well. 
  1. Month of Music at the Townmall of Westminster - Head to Belk Courtyard for the Townmall's month of music program. Enjoy the sounds and sights of the season with performances from local community groups. Check signage posted for specific times! 
  1. Sunday Night Big Band Concert at the Carroll Arts Center - Hear the swinging sounds of the Sunday Night Big Band as they play holiday favorites. This popular 17-piece band has been entertaining Carroll County audiences for several years and is glad to be back at the Carroll Arts Center!
