- CCPL Halloween Take and Make - Crafts and games and fun, oh my! Enjoy fun fall and Halloween crafts and games with this fun kit full of goodies that the kids can take home. Kits will be available while supplies last.
- Open Studio Painting at Small Farm Ceramics - Drop in any time during open hours to paint your very own ceramics item! The cost is $5.00 for 2 hours!
- CCPL: Pajama Party Storytime - Wear your pajamas, bring your favorite stuffed animal, and listen to stories before bed. This storytime introduces stories through books, songs, and activities appropriate for young children.
- International Animation Day - October 28 is International Animation Day. It's a day to recognize and celebrate the artists, the scientists and the technicians behind animated art including animated movies. Celebrate with a movie day at RC Theatres in Westminster or at home!
- Carroll AG Center Corn Maze - The Corn Maze starts Friday, September 10th and runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 31st.
- CCPL: Ghost Walk of Westminster - Join us for a ghost presentation and stroll through Westminster to visit our local ghost and legends. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles. In the event of rain, a virtual ghost walk will take place in the library.
- Creepy Critters Costume Celebration at Piney Run Nature Center - What better way to welcome the eve of Halloween then with scaly,feathery and slimy critters? We hope you will join us with our critters who will provide you with plenty of tricks and treats and some fun facts! First, we hope you will march around the nature center and aviary to show off your costumes to our critters, thenour critters will come out and allow you to have a photo shoot with them. Bring your best costumes and your cameras!
- 2nd Annual Truck-or-Treat at Taneytown Liquors - Come join us for our 2nd Trunk-or-Treat event here at Taneytown Liquors! Plenty of fun and candy for the kids and so much more to put a smile on anyone's face! We hope to see you there!!
- Designer Bag BINGO for Carroll Special Olympics - Designer Bag Bingo to Benefit Carroll County Special Olympics. We will be holding this Bingo at Reese Fire Hall at 1:00 on Halloween DAY. We will only be able to sell 300 tickets, so reserve yours before they are sold out.
- Townmall of Westminster: Trunk or Treat - Head to the TownMall of Westminster in the rear parking lot between Spirit Halloween and Freestyle Hair Salon for a Trunk-or-Treat. Receive a FREE Halloween bag and trick-or-treat outside in community businesses' trunks and tables. Rain or shine!
