National Curried Chicken Day - On January 12th, celebrate spicy at Tim Thai and tell them Westminster Macaroni Kid sent you.
- Corky’s Mittens with the CCPL - Corky has lost his mitten. Have you ever lost a mitten? What will he do? Join Corky virtually with the CCPL staff and find some fun books and activities about mittens.
- Drive-Thru Craft - Hot Cocoa - with the City Parks and Rec Dept - Looking to get out of the house with the kids? Come to the Westminster City Parks and Recreation Department’s drive-thru activity on January 12 and pick up your craft to make at home! This is free for kids (or parents picking up for children), while supplies last. Must stay in the car, no registration required.
- Pasta Fun: Kid’s Activities with Pasta with the CCPL - Join (virtually) the discovery play fun as you create colored pasta for sensory play and have fun with things from the kitchen!
- Snowman Spectacular Crafts with the CCPL - Register to pick up a snowman-themed activity bag. Pick up will be at the Eldersburg Branch from January 6 through January 8, during regular library hours.
- Light Up Your Winter with a DIY Luminaria with the CCPL - Light up your winter by making a simple, but pretty, luminaria! Using just a few inexpensive items, you will learn how to make this decoration, choosing any theme you would like: winter, Valentine's Day, patriotic, or St. Patrick's Day. Tune in to get some fun ideas!
- Bear Cub Explorers at Bear Branch Nature Center - Each month you will learn about a different nature-related theme as you explore the natural areas around the nature center! You will finish up with an interactive craft to remind you of your day. Program is entirely outside and therefore weather dependent. Each month explores a different theme; activities are planned for ages 5-10; younger siblings may not attend.
- Strawberry Ice Cream Day - January 15th is strawberry ice cream day! Celebrate by making your own ice cream at home or picking up a pint from Hoffman’s Creamery! Tell them Macaroni Kid Westminster sent you!
- Star Wars Trivia Night with the CCPL - Get ready for a special super-sized trivia night! Test your knowledge on the nine films of the Skywalker Saga, as well as both seasons of The Mandalorian. The CCPL staff would be honored if you would join us.
