With the back-to-school season in full swing, we all know that time is of the essence. The time you save on this sweet treat can be used to give your little ones some extra hugs as they head off to school.

My favorite thing to do for my kids is create a fun lunchbox surprise to motivate them to do their best. I decided to pick up some delicious mini brownies from my grocer’s bakery department for this quick and easy project.

To get inspired for my DIY projects, I like to surf the pages of Pinterest.  The Give Bakery Because page has so many great ideas for packaging your baked goods in a crafty and fun way.  Then, I head to the grocery store, stop by the bakery department and choose some yummy treats to include in my project.

The best thing about this “Reach for the Stars” lunchbox treat is that I don’t have to spend all my time prepping, baking and cleaning. It’s quick, easy and the end product is a fantastic treat that puts a smile on my child’s face.
