Don’t Spend Your Summer in the Grocery Store!

Once upon a time there was a mom. She had a new bundle of joy and all of a sudden life was turned upside down. The teething came and went, he learned to walk, but the one lingering problem the family couldn’t overcome was the challenges of grocery shopping for their home. Diapers and baby food can’t wait until it is convenient to go to the store and it interrupted their lives every day.

I’m not talking grocery delivery services and finding the right coupons - I’m talking a way to really keep track of the hundreds of products they used in their home and actually have a chance of going to the store with a shopping list. This simple yet difficult level of convenience just didn’t exist. So, this mom - who also happened to be an engineer, declared - “I’m going to quit my job and create it.“ And so she did.

Friends, I’m here to introduce you to Shelf Scouter: a grocery organization app that will help you and your family truly know which products you use in your home and when you’re running low. Shelf Scouter brings confidence and calm to grocery planning, and saves you time in the store. If you’re open to ordering products online, skipping the trips to the big box store, and shopping local for your fresh food, Shelf Scouter shows you if your products are available to order online from Walmart or Amazon.

I’m here to share with you that Shelf Scouter has solved our grocery planning challenges. Each week a box is delivered to our front porch with our large, bulky, and boxed products that can be a pain to shop for at the store. Anything you can think of - diapers, toilet paper, dog food, laundry detergent - even snacks, spices, and chocolate. Now, my trips to the store take only 20-30 minutes per week.

Starting this summer, our team will be rolling out our shopping tips and hacks designed to help you save time in the store and stretch the products you use once you buy them. I invite you to sign up for our monthly newsletter which will feature these tips - and you have my promise that we will not spam you - because I hate spam as well.

You can check out our first tips here.

Shelf Scouter is truly here to help. I’m not selling your data to big marketing groups (or anyone else). Whether you check in periodically for shopping tips or dive straight into the app, I hope you'll join us.
